If there was hate crimes happening to my family….

If someone in my family was threatened or bullied because of their race, skin color, or their gender, I would be heartbroken. Not just because they are my family member, but because these things actually happen to people and he or she just have to deal with it. This is really sad and what makes it worse is that this is reality . Sometimes when people are in the grocery store they have to hide behind a stall of bananas because they are afraid that someone will intentionally try to hurt them. I would want to help my family member in any way possible. But that won't change the fact that they've been scarred forever . It's like a broken vase, if you break it you can't really put it back exactly how it was.

Although this has never happened, if it did I would try my hardest to make my family member forget most of it. I would make sure they knew how much everyone loves and cares for them so that they don’t take any suicidal steps which would be heartbreaking and horrible for everybody.

I would also try to talk to the bully and try to make sure they understand what the victim is going through. Then I would make sure they understand what they have done. I would ask the bully what needs to be done to stop this behavior and if they did it to other people.

I would also call the police and tell the police all the details. That way, I can make sure that the person is punished/arrested. I would try my best to fight the bully in court. I would want to let my family member know that the bully was being punished so that my family member feels safe.

Sometimes hate crimes include making fun of someone's gender. for example; a lady who was the prime minister of a country was bullied by a man for being a woman. But she stood up to him and said a whole speech explaining that he was wrong and that all women should feel secure in their environment.

Religious preference is a personal matter, and you should not judge...
