Why This Pay System Will Work

This pay system will work for these reasons:

Economic Security- with a base salary and commission, sales representatives will always have a paycheck meaning that paying their bills should never be an issue.

Stability- Along with the steady paycheck, InterCleans offering of a base salary expects their Sales Representatives to stick around for the long-term. All of our Sales Representatives have longevity with the company which is why it makes this work.

Training- With the stability and structure is offered with this salaried/commission position is a training program. The Sales Representatives have a formal training process along with valuable ongoing training. This training will help them improve in their current position.

Expenses- Since these are salaried positions they will provide basic expense reimbursement to InterClean Sales Representatives by means of; mileage and cell phone reimbursement.

Benefits- With few exceptions, the salary base + commission job will offer health insurance, possibly along with other fringe benefits.

InterClean sales representatives will in all get the best from both worlds. They will have the luxury of having a stable base pay and commission to entice them to sell more for a much bigger paycheck (Salary or Salary + Commission, ΒΆ 11).

3 Components of Total Rewards Package

Commission: this will enable our high performing sales people to earn huge amounts. Commission is just an added bonus on top of their base pay.

Base Salary: Each sales representative will have a different base pay according to level of success and experience. Raises from the past will also make each base pay different. A base salary is a steady and reliable amount of money flowing in each month.
