Symptoms include dizziness, shortness of breath, joint pain, eye strains, and drowsiness.

They would all sum up to not allowing her to perform her best at the swim meet.

3. Why is Annie having problems breathing?

She went up the stairs causing her breathing problems.

4. What are the possible reasons for Annie’s condition?

There may be problems with her circulatory system, or her cardiovascular system, could also be problems with the nervous system.

Part II:

1. What additional vital signs or symptoms does Annie exhibit?

Constant fatigue, and blurry vision are additional symptoms.

2. From the internet, find a picture that shows the mammalian spinal cord in cross section. Include the url where you found it and a statement of why you feel this is a good example.

I feel that this is a good example because it shows you were the cord is inside of the animal instead of just an example of what it looks like.

Our eye has muscles that able us to look around a room, with a decline in muscle function this could contribute to eye strains and blurred vision.

4. What are the possible reasons for Annie’s condition?

There could be motor neuron problems, where the message between sensory neurons and inter neurons could not be passing to the motor neurons. This would cause a decline in muscle function.
