HP or Hewlett-Packard is a hardware and software corporation based in the United States. It provides computers, printers, software, and other technology to companies ranging from small business to large corporations and government. HP is the largest computer manufacturer worldwide.

Every company has to report on their financial situation. HP has a standard of ethics that it uses when writing their financial statements. These ethics carry over into the behavior of the organization and the way in which it conducts itself. The SEC is the authoritative securities agency for the United States. The SEC stands for Securities and Exchange Commission. The SEC enforces all federal securities laws in the US.

With a large company like, HP, they will need to stay ethical in all areas in which they conduct business. Being a large company, HP needs to keep their finances in a positive spotlight, ethically speaking. HP has established in their company some extremely beneficial and ethical programs that help people all around the world. HP really takes the initiative in helping people all around the world, and not only people, but they also try to stay environmentally friendly as well. HP makes the effort to reuse and recycle all of their products. HP has started a few different programs to help people such as The HP Catalyst Initiative, HP LIFE, and Early Infant Diagnosis. “The HP Catalyst Initiative is a global network of educators who explore new approaches to STEM education.
