Love for the Classic Dance Movies

One of my all times favorite dance movies are Dirty Dancing and Save the last Dance. They are both similar in many ways. They are both love stories with unforbidden love. They dance to stand up to whatever they are fighting for. For example, Dirty Dancing has a father who does not excepts his daughter choice as her love and Save the last dance has teenage interracial couple that fell in love , which can not be except by his friends. The movements in both movies are connected with each other. There is chemistry with the actors as they perform their dances. Its power and you feel their love thought dance.

Their styles are difference because both movies are from different eras. Dirty Dancing is based in the summer of 1963 and Save the last Dance is based on our time. The style of dance used in Dirty Dancing is a mix because of the plot of the movie begins on a vacation and having activities such as dance. There were a lot of different styles, and it looked like the last dance was maybe a mixture of them. Some of the ones used in the movie, though, are Merengue, Mambo, Cha-Cha, and Salsa. In Save the last dance, their dance performance is a mix of classic ballet with some up beat hip-hop. In Save the last Dance, there are some parts of the movie that are slightly clichéd dancing as she walks under the L - we saw Jennifer Grey dance her way up a flight of stairs in "Dirty Dancing".
