Nowadays, almost every Filipino owns a cellular phone. People of any social economic status consider it as a focal medium for communication. This is because cellular phones are very handy and convenient to use and greatly help in linking people from in and outside of the country. Certainly, the main function of cellular phones is to help communicate effectively through calls and texts. In effect, a lot of telecommunication networks aroused and is continuing to develop and enhance their services for the people to patronize.

Demands for cellular phones increase, so as modernization of cellular phones are highly dependent to the development of new technologies. “There is one cell phone for every two people in the world, which is a grand total of about 3.3 billion cell phones that are actively in use and a study by the University of Michigan’s Institute for Social Research showed that 83% of people believe that cell phones make their lives easier. The cellular phone even beat out the internet in this survey”, according to startacellphonebusiness.com. That is how fascinating and influential cellular phones are. But now that the market sells even the most advanced electronic communication device of today’s 21’st century, what are those without a good quality Subscriber Identity Module or SIM card.
