Executive Summary
The purpose of this report is to propose a project plan for IKEA that will hope to ensure market expantion in the Aberdeen area. The 2012 project will hope to be located in the Laurencekirk area and the plan is designed to address challenges as well as compare two different approachs IKEA could potentially use.
In order to provide a successful project proposal, the report will be written as it was a project manager themselves applying the fundamental elements of the project management subject. Based on that, a detailed proposal, a Gantt chart, risk analysis and management change procedure will be evaluated and discussed.
By reviewing all the mentioned areas, the plan for the new Laurencekirk IKEA is justified with respect to its financial and social aspects.
