Methods and Procedures

This chapter discusses the methodology of the study that will be used in the determination and effectiveness of an inventory system.

Research Design

The researchers used the descriptive type of research. Descriptive method is designed for the researchers to gather information about the existing problems or conditions of the business. It also involves a collection of data in order to test hypothesis and answer questions concerning with the current status of the object of the study.

Researchers performed a survey on the employee or respondents of Crystal Clear Water Purifying and Refilling Station. With the use of close-ended questions, they asked those who are working on the said business the existing problems they, in behalf of the whole business, are facing without using any kind of system.

Respondents of the Study

The respondents of the study were the employees of Crystal Clear Water Purifying and Refilling Station. The respondents are concerned with the kind of business transaction they currently have.

The numbers of how many residents was determined under quota sampling method.

There are total of 5 employees in Crystal Clear Station who answered the survey questions prepared by the researchers.

Research Locale

The location of the study was in Rosario, Ortigas, Pasig City. It is where our chosen business, the Crystal Clear Water Purifying and Refilling Station, was located. When you enter Lifehomes Subdivision, you will see just a small blue station. Crystal Clear Water Purifying and Refilling Station was built in a very profitable place because it is located in a very wide community, however lacks business same as with the Crystal Clear.
