I don’t see the reason for religion. Though there are some pros the cons over throw them. Some pros may be like belief gives humans something far greater then reality can. Some pros may be that humans just need to escape somewhere. I am for human rights and they can choose what to do, but religion I must say should be confined within one’s person.

If religion is supposed to be a guide then why does it blind people? Usually, people who are strong on their belief they tend to only stick to that, not listening to others. In my opinion that is complete ignorance. Why listen to the leading you and not your peers? We all learn from mistakes but not everything should be learned from one. People should learn from other people mistakes too. That is why every one should keep to open ears and open hearts so something can at least get through. The person speaking should respect that one-person religion enough not to insult them but the person listening should respect the one’s speaking opinions. In order to gain something some thing of equal value must be lost.

In the bible specifically there are many things stated that should not be enforced. Stuff says that the women shall not speak unless spoken to, and that anything of the homosexual tendency shall be exalted. I understand that this “God” is all knowing and that he is the creator of the Earth. If he wanted us to be controlled by this Bible then he shouldn’t have given us the power to reason and the power to question. Those are the two most powerful things humans can do. The bible is from a long time ago and things change over time. Whether or not his beliefs have changed no one may know. He does not come down and speak to us. Why doesn’t he do that? Sure, signs have come upon us and it is our fault that we do not listen, but if he has the power to create the Earth surely he has the guts to come down and to tell us what to do.
