SUBJECT DETAILS TEACHING STAFF Up until 2007 Michael worked within the Service sector and the majority within Travel or Distribution. During that time he worked for a major multi-national organization in London, Miami, Brussels and Kuala Lumpur. He made the decision to switch to an Academic/Portfolio career to widen his horizons. Current skill set primarily based upon strategic marketing and complex international project management. Strong team building, communications and cross-cultural skills. Michael was taught Pedagogical skills at London Business School where he graduated with an M.Phil. Previously he had completed an MSc at City University Business School (CASS). He also holds the professional post-graduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, of which he is a Full Member. Whilst at LBS Michael taught undergraduate Business Economics at Queen Mary College (University of London). Since then he has taught Marketing Management at Universiti Antarabangsa Islam Malaysia and spent a year as a Visiting Senior Lecturer at Universiti Malaya. Now at HELP University in Kuala Lumpur he also teaches regularly on the MBA programme at IS-VNU in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. His previous expertise in Market Segmentation, Product Development and Pricing and as a past member of the UK Superbrands Council has led to him presenting at many external Conferences in Europe, the United States and Malaysia. Language skills extend to intermediate French and a smattering of German, Dutch, Malay and Spanish.
