No Marshmallows, Just Term Papers
When it comes to the topic of global warming being a myth or reality, there are numerous answers that will be received if asking numerous people. I think it actually depends on WHO you ask. If you ask someone random on the street, their answer might be one of uncertainty and they would probably say myth simply because they do not have knowledge on the subject. But on the other hand, if you asked a scientist who has devoted long hours to studying this subject, this answer might be one of reality. Me personally, based on the evidence of my findings, do believe that global warming is indeed reality.
In order to understand if global is a myth or reality; we must first deduct what global warming is. By scientific definition, global warming is “an increase in the temperature of the planet over many years of time.” I think that it depends on where the changes are taking place. For example, there are scientists that say that global warming is caused by human activities and according to www.look-to-the-skys.com , this is simply not the case. The IPCC states that “most of the temperature increase since the mid-twentieth century is "very likely" due to the increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations.” With scientists providing this typeo of valid information, the present a credible source to back up the thought of global warming being a reality.
Another reason for me to believe that global warming is indeed a reality is just looking at the environment around me today. Just this past November and December have been some of the warmest to date that I can remember. There were days in December that were almost 70 degrees and some days where coats werent even nessecary. This was disturbing to me and it just further enhanced my belief that global warming is a reality. There is evidence according to greenfacts.org that suggests that "the number of extremely low temperature days should decrease as global temperature rises." This backs up the warm...
