Below is the final project requirements. Please read through what we need to do. We also need to pick a specific organization within the industry so we can base our analysis on. Since we are doing the medical industry, any hospital would be feasible, or something in the similar option. Let's meet this Thursday at 2:00 and start working as well as divide the tasks. We can meet once more time on sunday to put it all together. Does that sound good? In the mean time, read through the instruction and see what you can do before the meeting on thursday. It is best that we come up with an organization name by tomorrow.

I have taken the outline of the paper that was expected from 119B students in the past, and transformed that into an outline of a ppt file that is the deliverable due from this semester’s 119B students. General rule of thumb for a good ppt file is succinct bullet points. In this case however, make sure that your slides make sense to a user who may not be present at your presentation. Since I will be grading these offline, it is important that all the important information be on the slides. That said, it is still important to organize the information in a readable manner.

Slides 1-5: Industry Profile (general characteristics of the industry as a whole. Include topics such as brief history, aggregate size and financial performance over time, dominant companies and market shares, significant trends, shifts in industry structure through mergers, alliances, or consolidations, product or geographic niches, primary markets, and potential growth.)

Slides 6-10: Five Forces for that Industry including the specific scope of the industry to be analyzed, including identification of the major companies who compete within that specific industry or industry segment
