Personal Statement

The unprecedented explosion of corporations and financial services industry has brought about immense opportunities to utilize newer principles, methodologies, tools and practices in the field of Finance. It is this challenging field in which I would like to gain expertise. Finance is the need of the today world economy. That’s why I’m now happy to apply for the acceptance into the Finance program at your prestigious university.

When I was very young, I got in touch with business knowledge and formed deep interest in Finance field. My mom works in a bank and she keeps interpreting knowledge about Finance to me since I was a little girl. From her, I learnt how a bank is run and how various businesses are transacted. Also, my father runs his own business and he often tells me his experience about how to run a business well. Under the influence of my parents, I became more and more convinced that I would love to further investigate the Finance field. I still remember once I watched a movie called Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps which has given me deep impression. Since watching the movie, I found myself extremely interested in how the Capital Market works. With the increase of my age, many things in my life have changed. But one thing remains constant, that is, I will consistently insist on doing what I like to do and hope that my endeavors can be valuable to the life of others. I see this as the only way whereby I can realize the value of my life.

Since school days, I have always been regarded as an academically brilliant, having been awarded merit certificates throughout my school and university education. I was always among the top 5% students. My passion of English and business field led me to choose Business English as the undergraduate program.
