Healthy eating is not only important to your diet, it is also important to your well-being. This is the reason healthy eating will allow individuals to feel better about themselves. Even though healthy eating options are easy and inexpensive, families often eat unhealthy fast food because it is easy and inexpensive.    Families are short on time and need options on ways to eat healthier, because eating healthy directly affects your health and wellness

In the essay I will provide easy snack options. These options will keep children from grabbing unhealthy snacks. Here are five snack ideas for families. The first healthy snack is fruit. Always keep a bowl of fruit on the table or buy frozen or canned fruits to have if fresh fruits are not in season. Also the supermarket has pre-sliced fruits that can save time. The next snack idea is to have cold cut sandwiches but add a twist. Cut the sandwich into pieces like a jigsaw puzzle. Have children assemble the sandwich together then eat the treat. Have vegetables available in the kitchen. Eat the vegetables raw or steamed. Children will love the crunchy effect the raw vegetables have to offer. Another food to try is popcorn; it’s a whole grain healthy snack. Finally have water available to drink with the healthy snack. Having a healthy snack with soda or juice could be harmful to your teeth and overall health. These snack ideas are easy to make and cost less than pre-packaged snacks.

Have fun with snacks. Here are some fruit and vegetable ideas that can be fun for the family. One to try is a fruit pizza. First get a frozen pie crust pre- bake the crust and then spread cream cheese along the pie crust. Next decorate the face with fresh fruits and berries. This is a fun idea for families.
