SWOTT Analysis: Paper, Packaging, and More (PPM)

The key to the success of any business is the ability to deal with factors in both its external and internal environments. External factors in the environment organizations have no control over even though they influence its organizational structure, choice of direction, and internal processes. Internal factors an organization has more control over as changes or improvements can occur easily. Organizations identify their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and trends by analyzing various internal and external factors, and using those findings to help achieve their goal(s).

This student will identify and summarize five external and five internal factors directly affecting the success of the organization. This student will also examine one strength, weakness, opportunity, threat, and trend associated with each factor. The following is an external and internal environmental SWOTT analysis for a new business; Paper, Packaging, and More who offer an array of services and supplies to other businesses as well as individuals within the community.
