The manner that SAIGA acts as a DSS is that the computer system is designed to provide assistance in determining and evaluating alternative courses of action. It acquires date from the mass of routine transactions from Aeroports de Paris then analyzes it with advanced statistical techniques to extract meaningful information and narrows down the range of choices by applying rules based on a decision theory. Orchestrating an efficient delivery of all of these different areas would require the skill of more than one person, by using an information system the airport runs more efficient and is less stressful for the personal and travelers.
