The Center for Disease Control is to create the expertise, information, and tools that the community needs to protect their health. The Center for Disease Control accomplishes its mission by working with other organizations throughout the nation. The Center for Disease Control Ethics Program interpret the laws and regulations, they review financial disclosure reports, and helps to offer ethics training and counseling services to ensure that the Center for Disease Control avoid violating any ethic laws and undermining the public’s trust. Therefore, the Center for Disease Control core values shows accountability, which refers to the service of the community that they act decisively and compassionately. The Center for Disease Control values shows respect and understanding, both inside the agency and throughout the world, treating the people with dignity and values the individual cultural diversity. Conclusively, the focus of the core values of the Center for Disease Control is their integrity, which shows their honesty and how ethical the organization is in their professional excellence.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s goals are to prevent and control diseases or injuries in order to protect the health of the community and promote the quality of life. To ensure there is a productive and wholesome community, CDC has produced multiple programs that are committed to limit and control economic and health effects (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2011). Principles and values provide a framework for decision making and a means of justifying decisions.
