G.E competes against a number of companies, but most of them are more specialized, focusing in on one industry. G.E’s operations on the other hand are spread across many different industries, limiting its exposure to competition from any one company. Of G.E’s competitors, Siemens AG is the most significant. Siemens operates in a number of different industries, many of which it shares with G.E. Siemens is the only company that effectively competes against G.E in nearly all of its main industries.
