June 19, 2012

Hello people from the future! If you reading this letter then you have found the time capsule, Congratulations! My name is Mark Ali. I’m writing to you about my present life and the society I live in. I hope you can gain a better understanding of how things were for me in the year 2012.

I’m 43 years old healthy male who lives in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I’m currently employed for an online University called Kaplan and I work in the admissions dept. My work week is from Monday through Friday. My hours are from 9:00 am to 6:00pm. I enjoy my job because I help people enroll into school so they can fulfill their educational goals. My weeks consist of work, the gym, taking care of my two dogs and school work. My weekends consist of car meets, hanging at the beach, boating, and being around my good friends.

The one thing I really enjoy is driving fast cars. I have driven many cars from the top car manufactures around the world. My favorite car to drive at this time is the Lamborghini Aventator. In 2012 this car cost $550,000 US Dollars. It has 700HP and can cover the quarter mile in about 10.6 seconds. It’s one of the most powerful and beautiful cars every built but easy to drive. Maybe you have seen one of these in your car museums?

As history has shown you about my time period there were many changes in the world from politics to technology. As a young man I witnessed the first every African American elected to the White House. I also was one of the first people to have an iphone and ipad. These inventions were developed by Steve Jobs who created Apple. His inventions influenced a technological revolution in the cell phone and tablet market. He was also responsible for the creation of the ipod which was a device we could carry our favorite songs and movies on. It gave us freedom and choices to listen to what we wanted wherever we wanted....
