Plot

Participating alone in SAO, protagonist Kirito had promptly accepted the «truth» of this MMO.

And in the game world, a gigantic floating castle named «Aincrad», he distinguished himself as a solo player.

Aiming to clear the game by reaching the highest floor, Kirito riskily continued alone.

Because of a pushy invitation from a female warrior and rapier expert, Asuna, he teamed up with her.

That encounter brought about an opportunity to call out to the fated Kirito―.

Characters

Kirito – Kirito (キリト Kirito?) is the main protagonist of the Sword Art Online light novel series. His name, Kirito, was taken from his real name Kirigaya Kazuto (桐ヶ谷和人 Kirigaya Kazuto?). "Kiri--" from Kirigaya and "----to" from Kazuto. He was chosen as one of the 1000 beta testers for the Closed Beta of «Sword Art Online», the first ever VRMMORPG for the NerveGear.

Asuna – Asuna (アスナ Asuna?) is a heroine and the partner of Kiritoin the Sword Art Online series. She is the sub-leader of the «Knights of the Blood» guild in «Sword Art Online»[1]. Her real name is Yuuki Asuna (結城明日奈 Yūki Asuna?), and she is the daughter of the Former CEO of RECTO Progress Inc.

Klein – Klein (クライン Kurain?) is one of the 10,000 players of «Sword Art Online» and the guild leader of «Fuurinkazan» (風林火山), one of the clearer guilds[1]. He became Kirito's friend after he asked Kirito to show him how to play SAO[2]. His real name is Tsuboi Ryoutarou (壷井遼太郎 Tsuboi Ryōtarō?).

Lisbeth – Lisbeth (リズベット, Rizubetto?) is one of the 10,000 players who were trapped in «Sword Art Online», where she plays as a blacksmith. She is Asuna's best friend. Her real name is Shinozaki Rika (篠崎里香, Shinozaki Rika?). Her «ALfheim Online» avatar is...
