Introduction

Information Systems exist in our environment with or without our knowledge. Sometimes, we do not recognize a particular thing as an information system and they appear as a good or service in the neighborhood. In recent years, there has been an abundance of new technologies in the information systems field. Information systems have gone from being a series of one level database to three dimensional reality, virtual reality, and multimedia systems(H.D.Clifton & A.G. Sutcliffe, 2004). In the early days of information systems, the demands were for data, with no real function of artificial intelligence. However, as the 21st century approaches, information system has been taken on an entirely different function, and the need for individual information systems has grown immensely. This demand for information technology is in all areas around life, and definitely it influence both private and public organization.

In this paper through two evidences- E-Government and socio-technical system try to analyze that the impact on the use of information in different organizations, as well as how the information systems influenced our living environment potentially.

Socio-technical system

Technology changes or updates are employed by organizations to increase productivity. In today's competitive situation it has become necessary to update organizations with technological changes. Theoretically speaking it should increase but many a times what most organizations don't take into account is interaction of technological factors with human factors. From mass production, lean productions to a socio-technical system production. It is hardly to compare which action is the best, because organizations face different environments, they produce different products, their organizational members are made up of different kinds of people, and the organizations are at different stages of development.
