Evaluating Kudler Fine Foods

Kudler Fine Foods is the first upscale gourmet store that serves premium selections of meats, produce, cheeses and wines to all the customers who want a chef like experience when cooking in the kitchen. These are the customers who not only want the best organic selection but who also want the utensils necessary to complete such a gourmet meal. Kathy Kudler owns the three Kudler Fine Foods epicurean stores La Jolla, Del Mar, and Encinitas. Kathy handles everything from purchasing all the store products, interacting with customers to stocking some of the products on the shelves. Most of the store products are perishable and they are continuously exchanged with fresh produce on a regular basis. The items are taken off the shelf and donated to food kitchens and local homeless shelters (Kuddler Fine Foods(KFF), 2003). All the stores are doing well except the Del Mar, location that is barely staying afloat.

According to Kudler Fine Foods these are a few of the stakeholders that could affect the organization or be affected by the organization in anyway whether they are internal or external are the following:

Staff – The team of clerks and shelf-stock personnel are critical to the daily operations of the stores. They are the ones that interact with the customers on a day-to-day basis. They are the ones who receive requests or complaints from the customers (KFF, 2003, p 12,para 2).

Customers – The organizations does its best at taking care of the all the customers’ needs. Free samples are giving out to customers, such as wine once a month during wine appreciation meeting. Customers can requests certain specialty products if the store does not carry it, if it is feasible for the store to stock the item. If not, the items are special ordered (KFF, 2003, p12, para 3).

Wholesale Suppliers – The products come to the store from local, national and international suppliers. The store purchases fresh, organic fruits and vegetables locally...
