Executive Summary
Introduction
Nuway was established in 2004 by its founder Thomas Henshell who maintained the position that traditional software development processes were fundamentally flawed. The flaw in the system according to Henshell was that the current processes were inefficient and provided poor service to the customers paying for the service with high initial and maintenance costs due to poor coding. Nuway was founded on a number of corporate principles that are held in high regard by senior management today which include simple ideals such as treating customers employees and suppliers fairly as well as maintaining integrity in all aspects of the business operations. These principles guide the way that Nuway interacts with its customers from charging them a fair price and providing a quality product.
The approach taken to analyze the options available to Nuway was to look at what they are doing now to see how the approach is benefiting the company as well as to analyze how competitors such as Adobe, IBM, and Apple are pricing and marketing their products. Entering the generic software market would be a new concept for Nuway so by taking into account competitors actions and their successes or failures we can more accurately predict the impact of different solutions on Nulogic.
