Businesses and social structures are dependent on the recognition of potential problems and issues that may affect the developmental growth and wellbeing of their particular institution. The manner in which these problems are addressed and executed can eventually lead to promising or disastrous fortunes. Kudler Fine Foods has the opportunity to expand its hold of a selective market if willing to relinquish the idea of autocratic operations management and form a geographically feasible operation center.

Kathy, owner of Kudler Fine Foods, has the opportunity to set a firm stance in the gourmet food market if see only recognizes the advantages of an operation center. If located strategically Kathy would create a place in which herself and qualified individuals could control inventory for all current and future stores in California. A fundamental aspect of Kudler’s success has been Kathy’s ability to interact with and understand her customer’s wants and needs. As she goes forward, the creation of an operation team that controls the ordering and product research, with her oversight, will allow her to have more time to spend in stores. The key will be selecting a place that permits for a simple commute to each store location as opposed to placing emphasis on one store through direct interactions whereas others are watched at a bird’s eye view.

A great deal of success can be achieved by the use of individual achievements and knowledge but to excel in business one must eventually access the strengths of others to see a broader scope of opportunity.
