INTRODUCTION:

Trade Union is an indispensable factor in an organization. It represents for the employees‘s interests. In business, social and ethical responsibility is also very important. They reflect the image and reputation of a company. The focus of this paper will be discussing on of definition, impacts, signification of trade union, social responsibility and business ethics.

1.0 Researching about Trade union and its relationship with workers.

Trade union is an organization which can’t lack in every firm during its operation. A company‘s Trade union also have an intimate relationship with employees in that company. Hereafter, we will discuss more clearly about Trade union.

1.1 What is Trade Union and what are purposes for its establishment?

A trade union is an organization which represent for workers‘s interests. It exists because individual workers don’t have enough power to influence decisions which relate to their job. Hence, by joining together with other members, they have more power to get a voice and influence. That means Trade Union is established by workers and employees.

The more members in the Trade Union, the more they can get influence on the organization. They also can impact considerable on efficient operation of the firm if they aren’t satisfied with the management. Trade Unions have leadership and they use collective bargaining power with their employer on the behalf of union members. Trade union ‘s leaders can negotiate with employers on behalf of workers for negotiate wages, work hours, working conditions, bonus, overtime payment, workplace safety, work rules, worker ‘s benefits, sick time, or medical benefits … complaints about working condition. If that negotiation stalls, trade union reserves the right to strike. [1]
