After comparing Product 1 (Skippy) & Product 2 (JIF) my choice would be the 2nd product. I chose this product based on my current diet and family’s eating habits. Within the past year my family has chosen to eat healthier and I have also started a diet that consist of watching my calorie intake, eating healthier and exercise. After comparing the labels and ingredients, the 1st product used a lot of unhealthy ingredients such as corn syrup & hydrogenated oils and with the 2nd product it used more natural ingredients such as flax seed & cane sugar. I also took in consideration that the 1st product had more calories per serving and had lower fiber and protein per serving which is not compatible with my current diet and my family’s healthier eating. In the past few months of reading labels and watching what my family eats I have found that the more processed the product and the more un-natural ingredients in the product the more calories and fat that product seems to have.

After comparing both fresh carrots and honey glazed carrots I would chose the fresh carrots. The nutritional value of fresh vegetables is determined by their seasonality and availability. When the vegetables are shipped across the country they are exposed to extreme temperatures which release their important nutrients like vitamin A and C. Many fresh vegetables have been harvested before they are ripe. Frozen vegetables are picked at the peak of ripeness then blanched and flashfrozen to remove bacteria and lock in their essential vitamins and nutrients. The faster they are frozen after picking the more nutrients they will retain. While fresh vegetables have a lifespan of only a week to two, frozen vegetables can last much longer in your freezer. So I would still chose the fresh carrots just because I would cut out the higher calories and sugars that are put into the honey...
