Naraku’s/Onigumo’s script (English dub):

16: (Flashback, Disguised as woman): “The abyssal hole that I have cursed you with shall be passed down to your children and their children so long as I live. Each generation shall thus be cursed until no one remains.”

18: “A vexing problem, isn’t it? If I am not mistaken, you are the elder brother of Inuyasha, Lord Sesshomaru, are you not? I am someone who like yourself despises Inuyasha. Forgive me but I happened to overhear your conversation just now. Perhaps I can be of assistance; might I suggest that you employ this arm? Yes, clearly. This arm belonged to a mortal but embedded in it is a shard of the sacred Shikon Jewel. Should you choose to employ this arm the jewel shard will enable you to wield the Tetsusaiga, Inuyasha’s fabled sword. The sword is known to work for the benefit of man; at present a demon such as yourself would be unable to even touch the Tetsusaiga. Yes. Oh, and one other thing: take this hive. You shall be able to make good use of it, with certainty. My apologies…call me Naraku.”

(Flashback): “Journeying with Inuyasha is a young monk. He may prove to be even more troublesome than Inuyasha himself.” “This is the hive of the Saimyosho, the insects of hell. It shall prove extremely useful when plugging the hole in the monk’s right hand.”

19: “Pitiful soul. I see he failed. Hah? Lord Sesshomaru! What a pleasant surprise. You are mistaken. I merely wished to assist him, and of course, to have my jewel shard returned to me. Lord Sesshomaru, I implore you to continue your anger. I may call you again, should another opportunity arise to destroy Inuyasha.”

20: (Flashback, as Onigumo): “You, young lass. Yes, your sister possesses what is known as the Shikon Jewel, does she not? Heh, all who are wicked know of it, and pursue it. I understand that the more evil the jewel absorbs, the more evil it becomes. Outstanding. Kikyo’s manner is self-righteous; for once I should like to see her apprehensive...
