This was an experiment done for a driving school, so answers to some questions could be as close to correct as possible. The research for the experiment was not available for use. Therefore, we conducted the experiment again with the help of a friend who is a police officer.
The question asked is; if two people who are the same height and weight get drunk at the same rate and pace, if one drank beer, and the other one drank liquor? Well we took our experiment a step further. We used three people, two males and one female all the approximately the same height and weight (within 1 inch in height and 2 pounds in weight). The reason for adding a woman to the scenario is, the fact that researchers claim that women do not hold liquor as well as men, due to body mass index (BMI). Then there is Lee who is a Phoenix Police Officer, who conducted the breathalyzer test and me who monitored the alcohol consumption. All guests ate a healthy dinner one hour prior to starting the experiment.
All of the drinks in this experiment had 6% alcohol content and were 12 oz servings. The first round of drinks were served at 7:00 pm. Alisha had a glass of chardonnay, Brian had a can of beer, and Justine had a 1.5...
