I. CURRENT MARKET SITUATION
A. Macroenvironment
Politico legal - This is year 2012 under P-Noy Administration still democratic whereby citizens have the freedom to engage in any kind of business provided that will not be contrary to the laws of the country.
Economic - As a democratic country, this is supposed to be a market economy, however, economic and national security stability will not be attained without rules and policies set forth by the government, thus the result is a mixed command and market economy for the country.
Social – Filipinos are family oriented and focus educating their children. They love to gather during special occasions like birthdays, feats but they are not so environment conscious.
Technological - Since the IT revolution started, technological trends are fast changing. The use of the internet, cellular phones, computers nowadays have greatly changed almost each and everyone’s lifestyle.
B. Microenvironment
Industry Profile – The Air Purifier is a new product in the market thus creating a new industry for itself, at the start will be levelling first the playing field before starting the game of selling this product; however, considering those indirect competitions like electric fans, coolers, air ionizers, etc. then this is already an existing competitive business industry.
The Company – RW & Company is a retail company to be distributing this Air Purifier product manufactured by foreign supplier. As being implied in the case, this is a partnership represented by Mr. T. Wan. It is not stated that it operates several other businesses therefore we...
