Theology and Spirituality in Christian Counseling (1996), McMinn offers us a vital and convincing representation of how counselors have used multitasking in their counseling world. On the other hand, the new aged Christian Counselors have come up with their own skills and Ideals on the area of psychology, theology, and spirituality. McMinn’s book takes us on a journey to understanding on how our values and perspectives can be reshaped as the results of a well-rounded multitasking approach to counseling.

We see this with all the life illustrations and brief counseling scenarios that are presented throughout McMinn book (1996). Therefore his book can be used as an excellent working model of identifying and relating different life experiences to Psychology, Theology, and Spirituality. We can see that modern psychology and theology practices different kinds of contemporary messages when it comes to treating mental health clients.
