The invention of computers has greatly influenced the human beings. It has managed the concept of global village effectively in less than seven decades of its existence. Today, Information Technology has helped to manage and process data in a more convenient way. Information technology has helped in laying a vital role in expanding business and must not be seen as expense but investment.

Managers have strengthened their company positions with the use of information technology by making good managerial decisions, effectively expanding their business processes and also workgroup collaboration. In order words information technology is necessary for managers to succeed in today’s competitive global environment.
