Analysis of Team Charter

When establishing a learning team it is essential that the members of the group take the time to familiarize themselves of each other’s personality traits in assess how each member will contribute to the team to accomplish the learning objective. For Team A to learn quickly about each other, each member was to complete several Jungian Personality self-assessments to assess personality types, listening skills and trust in others and then discuss the results as a group. The team’s goal is to complete and produces high quality assignments on a timely basis to obtain the highest grade possible. With this goal in mind, team will take into consideration the results of the Jungian Personality self-assessment and each team members’ individual differences to determine how to team charter to accomplish the established goal.

During the personality type self-assessment it was evident that Team A has a unique composition of different personalities, each with different set of skills. Out of the four personalities, the ISTJ personality, would serve as a best leader because this member is organized, trustworthy, and practical. When presuming a leadership position within the group this member would ensure that each member’s contribution is organized into a cohesive format that better represents the team. The ENFJ personality, also known to be a good fundraiser, is charismatic, compassionate, and highly persuasive. This member has personality traits that if desired could be used to convince the team to take on a particular point of view. This personality type would come in handy in resolving any conflict that could arise among team members. To assist in facilitating and initiate any interaction among team members, the team has the ESFP, the sociable and fun-loving member.
