3. Must we submit construction plans to the city?

Yes, the applicant shall submit two sets of plans with the application to the Department of Engineering Services. In addition, depending on the type of work, a storm water pollution prevention plan, traffic control plan, and trench safety plan may also be required.

4. Once the permit is issued, how long must we wait before commencing work?

Once a construction permit is issued, permittee shall give the Department of Engineering Services a minimum of 48 hours prior to commencing work.
