Hinduism is one of the oldest religions in the history of the world. With all of the religions that are in the world, Hinduism has been one of the only religions that are able to hold itself against repeated assault by other religious extremist who have tried to destroy it. I believe that is the reason why Hinduism has been able to maintain its spot. Hinduism is more a way of life. It is not a restrictive and organized religion. The core of Hinduism is the consciousness of the Indian society, and infuses in the every day life. The sacred elements that describe the Hindu religious traditions are difficult to identify, because of the absorption of the Hindu culture and traditions that have evolved and changed throughout thousands of years. Hinduism is practiced all over the world, including countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and other areas of the world. The word Hindu comes from an ancient Sanskrit term meaning "dwellers by the Indus River," referring to the location of India's earliest known civilization, the Pakistan.

There are four paths of yoga.

Raja yoga and is the path of mental concentration.

Jnana yoga is the path of rational inquiry.

Karma yoga is the path of right action.

Bhakti yoga is the path of devotion.

Raja is the science of physical and mental control. It offers a way to control thoughts and turn physical and mental energy into spiritual energy. The main practice of Raja is meditation.

Jnana is the most difficult path of yoga and is known as the yoga of knowledge or wisdom.

Bhakti is the path of devotion and love and mostly appeals to followers who are more emotional by nature. It is motivated by seeing God as the ultimate embodiment of love and uses love as its motivation.

Karma is the yoga of action and is chiefly followed by those who are outgoing. It teaches the follower to act selflessly and to not give any thought to reward for the action.
