1.) Select two sets of product or service organizations that could benefit from cross promotion. Outline what joint efforts they might take in pursuing their respective objectives.

I feel that that a partnership between Speed Stick deodorant and Dove body wash for men would greatly benefit both companies. Dove body wash for men is a new product that most men might not know about. This is not true for Speed Stick deodorant; this product has been around for years. Both products are used in the bathroom, when a man is getting ready for work, a date or whatever the case might be.

B.) Men don’t want to suffer from dry skin

A.) Men don’t want to worry about sweat stains during the work day

A cross promotion between these two products would allow them to package their products together in a package that would catch the customer’s eye. This would also introduce both products to men who didn’t know either of them existed. Their wife or girlfriend might also see it and think it would be a great gift idea. This would also allow each company to share the cost of advertising, which would save money for each company and provide for a bigger advertising campaign. They would be able to reach more customers. Some men might be suffering from dry skin and just live with it. With the joint venture between these two companies men might realize that their skin will start to feel healthy and won’t itch anymore. Each product carries credibility by itself. When a great product is paired with another one, both of those products gain more credibility.

Both of these product’s target men only. There is no other partnership between two similar products. If these two companies would offer their products together, they would establish a foothold in today’s market.
