ALCOHOL FREE DRINKS / SOFT DRINKS, JUICES AND MIXERS

As the name indicates, these are the drink, which does not have alcohol in them and are normally consumed for nourishment and refreshment purpose. These are generally referred as Soft drinks because of the fact that they don’t have alcohol in them.

Non-alcoholic beverages are potable drinks which gives nourishment and refreshment to the body and in addition to that it also maintain the PH balance. It also supplies instant energy after exertion like sports, working out in gymnasium etc. These drinks also prevent dehydration and maintain blood volume in case of bleeding, heat stroke, vomiting, excess sweating and diarrhea.

Soft drinks or cold drinks are divided in following nine categories as per their features and uses:

1. CARBONATED / FIZZY / AERATED DRINKS

As the name indicates these are the drinks, which have fizz or CO2 in them. As we open these bottles / cans of these drinks the certain amount of noise and fizz comes out as these drinks are charged with CO2 gas, hence they are also known as carbonated drinks. These drinks are artificially colored or flavored with the exception of few or they are fortified with coloring and flavoring with small quantity of natural ingredients. The process of aeration is carried out for branded drinks with a very high quality CO2 gas with 99% purity available.

These drinks are further classified into following categories:
