Communications Plan

Kudler Fine Foods is an organic gourmet food shop providing customers with the finest selection of upscale foods and wines (University of Phoenix, 2012). The company has taken initial steps to expand products to grow revenue not just for the domestic markets, but international markets. After critical review of the effectiveness of the strategic marketing goals, the company plans to turn the product launch into success with an effective communication plan. The communication plan will bring together the elements of interacting with the consumers and embracing the vision of the company.

Develop Communications Plan

Communication plays a vital part of the competitive advantage of the marketing mix. “Marketing communication attempt to inform, persuade, and remind consumers, whether directly or indirectly, about the products and brands they sell” (Kotler & Keller, 2007, p. 279). Marketing communications methods include advertising, direct marketing, public relations, sales promotion, and personal selling. Taking an integrated marketing communications approach (IMC) will be media-oriented to convey the message about the social café to target audiences domestic and international. Kudler Fine Foods will put in place obstacles to deliver the message noticeable by the audience, gain the attention of the full audience and message will be easily understood and processed. Kudler’s goal is to deliver feelings and consequences of different environments to promote the continued success of the brand.

Factors for Developing and Managing the Communication Plan

The factors of a successful communication plan include understanding the target market, objective, communication design, communication channels, budget, communication mix and managing the integrated marketing communications process (Kotler and Keller, p.291).
