Information system is technology used by individuals to accomplish objectives of an organization. In running a business, there are many functions and responsibilities involved. An organization can have structures of many different ways. The structure of an organization determines their outcome by how it performs. The Human Resource, Accounting and Sales department play majors roles in many companies today.
The performance of a company’s Human Resource (HR) department must be closely monitored in order for a company to be successful. Functions of the HR department include:

• Policy development
• Benefits
• Workers compensation
• Salary determination
• Reassignments
• Awards review and processing
This department is vital in a business when it comes to productivity, performance, and more.
The Accounting department is vital in most companies because they study how businesses track the assets and income. Roles of the accounting department include:
• Keep necessary records
• Establish accounting procedures
• Process orders
• Process invoices
• Process payroll
• Prepare financial reports and statements
The accounting departments engage in a wide range of activities other than those listed above.
The Sales department has a crucial effect on the sales in a company. Functions of the sales department include:
• Planning production sales
• Budgets
• Deployment of labor
This department also records to whom the organization has sold their products, when and for what type were sold, and etc. This data come from sale orders. They also define output products. The sales department of a growing company offers different branches of departments such as inside sales, outside sales, or retail sales.
