Baderman Island Resort has started a collaboration process. Baderman Island has three areas of operation, customer service department, housekeeping and maintenance department. All three departments will have to collaborate to continue to offer the excellent service, which is well known. Our team has outline the key points to foster this collaboration. All the departments on the scorecards, this will allow the customers and the departments to have a constant feedback on their effectiveness in the action plan. Our first plan of action is to provide outstanding customer service, examples include staff monitoring social networks site to ensure proper responses from customers. Step 2 we will implement a complete quality management program to maintain the goals and mission of Baderman Island Resort, examples include holding training seminars to teach the employees of Baderman’s about customer service skills. Step 3 we will implement the supervision of training which includes managers supervising employees by attending the weekly staff meetings, employees are mandatory to show up for two a month. The supervisor are also will conduct walkthroughs are accomplished once a week. Step 4 are the strategies of training, which includes managers performing reviews quarterly to discuss the performance of each employee and to keep all staff striving for success. Step 5 Baderman’s plan of action is to increase customer and employee relationship.
The company structure usually plays a role in how flexible or adaptable the company is. In the case of Baderman Resort, this is collaborating vertically to fulfill a need in implementing a casino. This will bridge the gap of the 20 -30 year old having some type of entertainment. The company also collaborates laterally, by allowing companies to book corporate meeting in a package deal.
