Hum 111 Week 3

Since I am doing my paper late the most recent news story that’s on all the websites are the ones about the Boston Marathon bombing. I have been keeping up to date on it by reading stories on Fox News. I think that they have been doing a great job keeping everyone informed on what is going on. I don't think that there is any other way of going about it. All of the facts that they currently have has been presented and they have detailed pictures and videos on what has happened on their website. I do think that some of the things shown are too detailed especially for those with a weak stomach. Fox news is an excellent source to get accurate and valuable information on any news story around.

I think that it’s important that it is important to make distinctions when undertaking a critical evaluation because this could make or break a story. You want to be sure to provide only the facts that you know and let everyone know if you do or don’t know something that should be known. In this case it would be that they have no leads as to who would have done the bombing and they want people to come forward if they know any information to help them solve it.

I think that if I had to do the story, I would have left out the gruesome pictures and not shown all the videos of the people being hurt. I don’t think that those people would want to be shown on television with missing body parts or bleeding everywhere. As for the radio, it would just be voice so that would be easy to report the story just by telling it as it updated.
