PART I PAPER – I (F.M.. 100) HISTORY OF LITERATURE: 60 MARKS Group A: OE period to 1750 Section 1: Old English and Middle English Periods Section 2: Elizabethan and Jacobean Periods Section 3: Civil War, Restoration and Augustan Periods One question of 16 marks out of three (one from each section) Two questions of 7 marks each out of six (two from each section) 16x1 = 16 7x2 = 14 Total 30 Three questions will have to be answered (one question of 16 marks and two questions of 7 marks each) taking only one from each section. Examinees are not allowed to answer twice from the same section.
