Communication in 21st Century

Communication has changed over many years because of technology. The different types of computers and cells phones makes communication easier. It makes talking faster. A family that has separated because of a new job can still talk far away. A dad can say good night to his child on the other side of the world. Now people can just get on a computer and talk right away. It helps strengthen relationships with other countries. If something needs to be said quickly it can be. Also, being able to go to school online helps people who wouldn’t go to school go. More people going to school helps the whole country.

There are some negative effects of technology. Being far away from they people that you are talking to leads to bullying. The person being mean does not think that they will get caught so they say really unfriendly things. It leads to a lot of problems on the internet. The reason this starts is because they mean kid doesn’t have to see the person they are bullying. Not being face to face to the person that you are talking to makes it easy to be mean. These bully depend on the internet to bully. It is the same for people to scared to go out and make friends. The technology makes it easier to learn names of people, but not make good friends. Today many families use texting to communicate. Sometimes they just call each other and don’t have dinner together. There is usually phones at the dinner table. Each child has a phone. They talk to their friends during family events. They parents are no better. They are always looking up events and sometimes ignoring their kids. If the phones were put away then the family would have to talk face to face. . Going out to see people in person is the only way to make real friends. in the end there are both positive and negative things from technology. People just have to deal with both.
