Demonstrative Communication

Demonstrative communication includes nonverbal and unwritten communication and involves such as body language, tone of voice, facial expressions, listening, and responding to a message. Nonverbal communication is all types of communication without the exchange of words. If a sender was speaking about a topic and sending nonverbal signals that the sender is not comfortable with the topic, the audience will perceive the senders body language. Demonstrative communication gives an in-depth view on the positive and negative effective and ineffective communication from the sender and receiver.  

Communication is processes in which the sender or receiver must receive or send the message encode or decode it them respond. When a person’s body language is not matching the message it will be harder to listen to as the receiver. For example, a lady is speaking about the best vacuum cleaner that she is trying to sell everyone, but she never smiles and her arms are around her waist the entire time. This would be an ineffective way to sell the vacuum cleaner. The kind of message the receiver will be negative. This could give people a perception that the vacuum it a plain vacuum cleaner.

A smile is worth a million words. It is always nice to see a smiling face look back toward the receiver rather than a mad or angry face staring toward the sender. Facial expressions give people a perception of what type a person someone is the majority of the time. For example if he or she looks angry every time they are seen by others. They will believe that he or she is just an angry person. Although some people are grumpier than others it is an ineffective. This is a negative way to communicate with others.

Effective nonverbal communication could determine the audiences view on the speech if he or she thinks, acts, and proves they know their topic others will trust them. You are a real estate agent and are showing a house they believe...
