Religion is a set of beliefs that a specific group of people follow. Each religion has their own individual views on abortion. Most religions often disagree their reason being prolife. The majority that do agree are often prochoice. Jesus believed that abortion is not classed as murder bust should be discouraged unless the mothers life is at risk. However many Roman Catholics define abortion as an ‘unspeakable crime’. There are liberal and conservative religious groups that are involved and there is conflict in the social and ethical issues. Should faith follow traditional ways or should they be developed to fit in today’s society?

There is significant moral controversy as the opinion in the UK and worldwide is divided. People often disagree with abortion as it’s an issue on the human rights. Although many disagree with it abortion is actually legal in the UK. It has been known that some arguments regard the method of abortion being vile and unhygienic.
