A Research Proposal for How Healthy Diet and Exercise Should be a Large Portion of Everyone’s Life

Diet and exercise are often thought of when someone is trying to be healthy. The research paper will be how diet and exercise improves quality of life from talking about subjects like how it makes one feel better to the actual health benefits that come from dieting and exercising regularly.

I have always had a keen interest in studying how diet and exercise affect one’s health. This spark of curiosity led me to decide to do a research paper on this topic. Not only does it interest me, but I would like to see the benefits for myself. I have never considered myself to be skinny or even really all that fit, only recently have I taken it upon myself to actually try to better my life by dieting and exercising regularly. Because I am dieting and exercising now I feel I will be able to give real life examples. It won’t be just another ‘I looked this up online and found some information and wrote a little bit’ paper. It will be a paper that has some real value to it because of my own personal experience.

I have done a little preliminary research of my own upon coming to this topic. I found a few websites that seemed to be very helpful in the writing of this paper, one of which being the Mayo Clinic website, one that is taken seriously for its prestige. From looking into the website and finding a few other with good information there should be plenty of research available to support my claims, and to even find a few claims that are not my own. The majority of my research will be from the internet, if not all of it. Of course I do not plan on using websites that are particularly biased but I will be sure to recognize that I am talking about benefits, most websites with benefits are biased because they do not want to claim the opposed.
