Robin Hood and his band of Merrymen is the subject of this case study. Robin Hood revolted against Sherriff of Nottingham and trained his own group. The organizational structure of the Merrymen is of a typical top-down management style, with Robin Hood as the CEO and a few lieutenants serving in different roles related to information gathering, discipline, finances and provisioning.

Mission is nothing but the present implementing process to reach goals with different objectives and strategies. Strategies involves formulation, implementation, evaluation and control. Robin Hood organizations original mission is revenge. Their first motto is "Rob from the rich and give to the poor," because that is the main reason the Merrymen were formed and gathered together.
