Origin of the Report

This report on “Developing a Training Module for Roche Pharmaceuticals Bangladesh Ltd.” has been prepared for Professor Iqbal Ahmed, Instructor of Training and Development Course to fulfill the partial requirement of the course.

Objectives

The objectives of the report are:

• To present an overview of the industry and company to be addressed

• To identify an existing challenge the company/industry is facing and offer a solution through appropriate training

• To provide training need assessment

• To develop a training module

Methodology

This paper is primarily based on the personal knowledge of the writer. In order to obtain information on industry and Roche Pharmaceuticals Company, both primary sources (interviews) and secondary sources (internet and newspaper articles) has been used.

For developing the need assessment, an extensive interview has been carried out with Mr. Raziul Amin Chowdhury, the Country Manager of Roche Bangladesh Ltd.

Scope

The training module has been developed based on the knowledge gathered during the Human Resource Management courses, particularly in the Training and Development Course.
