Question 1:

“Corporate social responsibility refers to the notion that corporations have a responsibility to the society that sustains them” (Wood et al. 2010, Pg 26). Breaktalk is one of the distinctive local brands in Singapore’s food and beverage industry. The organization integrates its sustainable business model with the additional considerations for their commitment and responsibilities to the marketplace, workplace, communities and the environment.

Wood et al. (2010, Pg 4) states: “organizational behaviour is the study of individual and groups in organizations”. This is to “create better understanding and management of human behaviour” (Wood et al. 2010, Pg 4) within the organization. Breadtalk has pursued a more active corporate social responsibility program. This has helped Breadtalk in enhancing their corporate image and reputation.
