Abstract

Education is a changing world that consists of many different components. In order for an organization to keep up with the many demands, they have to continue to look in the future and to set goals for this changing world. A leader has to make sure that they develop a strategic plan that will meet the needs of all stakeholders. They have to continue to make sure that they are communicating the vision and mission statements to everyone who is involved in the learning community. This paper outlines a strategic plan that involves the stakeholders, meeting the needs of the stakeholders, and implementing the ISLLC Standards 1 and 3. Combined with this paper is a school profile that lists the many components that will make up a school.

Introduction

An educational organization is a constant change. Having a strategic plan helps an organization with that change. It allows them to look ahead and see where they are going in the next few years or more. It also lets them see what it takes to reach their goals. As a leader, they have to understand that a strategic plan involves planning for all stakeholders and it has a variety of components that need to be considered. A strategic plan also helps the organization focus, it ensures that others who are involved are working towards the same goals, and it helps the organization adjust to a changing environment. Strategic planning is a process that seeks to involve as many internal and external organizational collaborates as possible (Whitney, 2010).
