Market information contract begins in 2005

Food manufacturer, Premier Foods has awarded a multi-million pound market information contract to Information Resources (IRI) and TNS after a competitive pitch.

The two companies will work together on the new three-year contract, which begins in January.

Pat Thomas, marketing controller for consumer insight and innovation at Premier Foods, said the joint contract will provide the company with promotional evaluation, measurement and analytical services, among others.

Premier brands include Typhoo tea, Ambrosia desserts and Branston Pickle.

Bracknell - November 15, 2004 - IRI and TNS have jointly won a multi million pound, three-year deal with Premier Foods. Working together to offer advanced market insight, sophisticated reporting and responsive account management, the team has won the contract to replace Premier Food’s incumbent market information provider, starting in January 2005.
